Alvaro joined the HealthBeacon team as the System Integration Engineer. His role is to support integrations and implementations for new and existing clients. Alvaro is half Portuguese, half Venezuelan currently living in the United States, married with a baby girl on the way and a 3-year-old Golden Retriever, which is the happiest dog in the world! Since Alvaro was a kid, he’s always had a passion for technology, specifically with Artificial Intelligence, robots, full-stack web development and gaming. In his spare time, Alvaro enjoys playing soccer and guitar (flamenco) around his family.

Zara joined the HealthBeacon team in Dublin as a Medical Science Liaison, to facilitate clinical research, assist with Regulatory Affairs and to act as a Medical Liaison. She is a medical doctor with an undergraduate degree in Business and Economics.
Zara is from Dublin and has lived in Cork, London, and traveled throughout South America. Zara initially studied Business and Economics at Trinity College. She always had a keen interest in healthcare, which led her to study Graduate Entry Medicine at University College Cork. As a junior doctor, she worked in a variety of medical specialties. She is really looking forward to pursuing a career in medical technology and contributing to the development of HealthBeacon.
In her spare time, Zara enjoys sailing, hiking and learning new languages.

Cait is a recent graduate from TUB with a degree in Product Design with experience working with hospitals across Dublin. Cait has engaged with patients over the past year while completing her final year project, gaining vital insights to the healthcare system. She is carrying on her studies into the medical device field this September at NCAD, where she will be completing a Masters in medical device design. Cait also enjoys traveling and playing football with her local team and college. Expressing her love for travel, she engaged with an overseas volunteer programme in Uganda, teaching women’s health and building an IT library for the local community.
A true yellow belly, growing up in Wexford and playing football whenever the sun was out. Cait is keen to learn and develop her skill set at HealthBeacon.

Brid is a Cork native who fulfilled her life-long dream of emigrating to Boston, MA 17 years ago and is now a proud US citizen residing on the South Shore with her husband, three young boys and their labradoodle.
Brid’s background is in Human Resources and Business Administration/Operations. She worked for a global Medical Device manufacturer as well as both emerging and established construction and property development companies.
In her free time she enjoys traveling, photography, running, watching her kids play sports and volunteering for the Boston Irish Business Association.

Rafeh has joined the HealthBeacon team as a Data Analyst intern. He has been pursuing his Master’s degree in Computer Science from UCD. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering and has previously worked on Smart health prediction analysis applications.
Rafeh grew up in Saudi Arabia but is originally from India, and has moved to Ireland in 2018. He is also a stand-up comedian, loves public speaking and traveling. In his spare time, he enjoys fencing.

Aanchal joined the HealthBeacon team as a Data Analyst intern and is currently pursuing her Masters in Computer Science from UCD. As an intern, she is driven towards working on the insights and analytics side of the HealthBeacon product across all domains. Aanchal has a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering and worked for Krixi Ideas & Technology Solutions as a Digital Marketing Executive.
Aanchal hails from the western part of India and has been in Ireland for the past year. Besides her profession as an engineer, she is a trained classical dancer in Kathak & wishes to have the right balance between passion & profession. She also enjoys exploring different countries, their cultures & obviously their dance styles!

Honore recently joined the HealthBeacon team in Boston as the Business Development and Marketing Intern. She currently studies at Boston University, where she is majoring in Business Administration, with a focus in Marketing and Strategy. This summer, she will work alongside the Marketing and Operations Manager, to assist in various marketing projects. Additionally, she will be apart of the Business Development team and focus on cultivating relationships with those in the greater Boston area.
During the school year, Honore competes on the Boston University Dinghy sailing team, which sails on the Charles River. She enjoys spending time in nature and loves snowboarding and hiking.

Mary joined the HealthBeacon team as the Marketing and Communications Manager in the Boston office. Mary’s role is to drive and coordinate HealthBeacon’s marketing activity out of the Boston office with a focus on building HealthBeacon’s global brand and creating community connectivity of the Boston office into the US healthcare ecosystem. Mary grew up in Rochester, New York and graduated from Boston’s Suffolk University with a BS in Finance. She previously worked in the Financial Technology Industry at Code Red and FactSet Research Systems with experience in start-up operations, finance, event planning, consulting, account management and project management.
Mary has a passion for traveling, outdoor adventures, fitness, photography, and cooking. She enjoys going to concerts and discovering new music, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Luis joins the HealthBeacon team as part of the software innovation dream team out of North America. Luis is a backend developer, web developer, and SAP consultant who will bring his expertise to the management of design, control, database management and optimization for the HealthBeacon smart sharps platform.
Originally from Venezuela, Luis is a true tech guy and always loves to be involved in the latest technology and learning new skills. He also loves taking his family to the beach and people with a good sense of humor.

Maurice has joined HealthBeacon to introduce and establish the company into the UK market. For over 30 years, Maurice has been on the forefront of healthcare sales and marketing. He has worked for a variety of pharmaceutical companies such as Quintiles and Schering Healthcare, and in medical devices as marketing and sales director at Clearstream Plc. He has also owned and ran his own medical device distribution business in the UK.
Originally from Belfast, he went to school in Armagh and graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Ulster. He is married and lives in Northumberland where he and the family enjoy hiking and walks most weekends. Some of his passions include building up a collection of great single malt whiskies and drinking them with friends, watching rugby and as a lifelong movie fan he watches his favourite, Zulu, at least once a year. He loves chocolate and wine and hopes they will invent chocolate wine someday soon.
Angel Quesada joins HealthBeacon as an important member of the Latin American team. Originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, Angel will be providing his extensive development skills from Bogota, Colombia. With previous experience working for a pharmaceutical company in Venezuela developing applications and integrating those with software from customers, he also spent time in Ireland developing applications for hospitals and clinics.
He describes himself as a reliable, methodical, proactive, entrepreneurial and conscientious person who gives his best to every project he takes on. In his personal life, he likes football and Real Madrid, loves to travel, practices his photography, enjoys watch thriller movies/TV shows.
