Marieke joined HealthBeacon as Key Account Manager Europe and is based in the Netherlands. Supporting patients is what drives Marieke in her work. For more than 20 years she has worked with and in Pharma to help improve the lives of patients. Starting her career in mobile devices, she transitioned to the Pharma industry with Patient Support and eHealth. Marieke was leading the HealthBeacon programme in AbbVie and is a big believer of innovations in e- and mHealth.
Marieke lives with her family in the Netherlands and loves to spend time with her fiancee and their two sons. When she is not busy with school or sports of the kids she loves to bake and cook, read and spend time with friends.
Colm is the most recent addition to Health Beacon’s Production team working as a Quality Technician Assistant. He is a local Dub, having been born and bred in Dublin and joined HealthBeacon in September 2019. Colm has a number of years work experience within the Logistics area and being a people person enjoyed some time working within the hospitality sector in Dublin. Colm also studied Business Studies in the Dublin Business School and is motivated by working with new technologies and understanding Business Strategy.
Colm is a dog lover, is passionate about Liverpool Football club, listening to documentaries and exploring the outdoors with Jackson, his Dobie dog.

Judith joined HealthBeacon in Fall 2019 as a member of the Customer Care team. She comes from an optical background, having graduated with Honors in Low Vision from The Association of Dispensing Opticians College. Judith occasionally lectures for DIT and tutors for the ABDO college in Godmersham, Kent.
Judith is from Holland and lived in South America and can speak Dutch and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, baking, hiking, participating in half marathons, arts and crafts, spending time with her nephews and nieces, reading and all things aquatic!

Alvaro joined the HealthBeacon team as the System Integration Engineer. His role is to support integrations and implementations for new and existing clients. Alvaro is half Portuguese, half Venezuelan currently living in the United States, married with a baby girl on the way and a 3-year-old Golden Retriever, which is the happiest dog in the world! Since Alvaro was a kid, he’s always had a passion for technology, specifically with Artificial Intelligence, robots, full-stack web development and gaming. In his spare time, Alvaro enjoys playing soccer and guitar (flamenco) around his family.

Zara joined the HealthBeacon team in Dublin as a Medical Science Liaison, to facilitate clinical research, assist with Regulatory Affairs and to act as a Medical Liaison. She is a medical doctor with an undergraduate degree in Business and Economics.
Zara is from Dublin and has lived in Cork, London, and traveled throughout South America. Zara initially studied Business and Economics at Trinity College. She always had a keen interest in healthcare, which led her to study Graduate Entry Medicine at University College Cork. As a junior doctor, she worked in a variety of medical specialties. She is really looking forward to pursuing a career in medical technology and contributing to the development of HealthBeacon.
In her spare time, Zara enjoys sailing, hiking and learning new languages.

Brid is a Cork native who fulfilled her life-long dream of emigrating to Boston, MA 17 years ago and is now a proud US citizen residing on the South Shore with her husband, three young boys and their labradoodle.
Brid’s background is in Human Resources and Business Administration/Operations. She worked for a global Medical Device manufacturer as well as both emerging and established construction and property development companies.
In her free time she enjoys traveling, photography, running, watching her kids play sports and volunteering for the Boston Irish Business Association.

Luke works with the Product Design team to create high-quality product animations, visual graphics and any media related videos. He develops programs with the app team and constructs images for the sales team. Luke recently graduated from Ballyfermot College of Further Education (BCFE) having studied Traditional and Computer Animation. He interned with HealthBeacon during his studies and took on a permanent role after graduating.
Luke is a devout petrolhead, and enjoys working on his cars and then driving them! He is involved in the Steam preservation community in Ireland, in which he helps to maintain and operate vintage steam engines during the summer.

Aanchal joined the HealthBeacon team as a Data Analyst. She is driven towards working on the insights and analytics side of the HealthBeacon product across all domains. Aanchal has a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Masters in Computer Science from UCD and previously worked for Krixi Ideas & Technology Solutions as a Digital Marketing Executive.
Aanchal hails from the western part of India and has been in Ireland for the past year. Besides her profession as an engineer, she is a trained classical dancer in Kathak & wishes to have the right balance between passion & profession. She also enjoys exploring different countries, their cultures & obviously their dance styles!

Mary joined the HealthBeacon team as the Marketing and Communications Manager in the Boston office. Mary’s role is to drive and coordinate HealthBeacon’s marketing activity out of the Boston office with a focus on building HealthBeacon’s global brand and creating community connectivity of the Boston office into the US healthcare ecosystem. Mary grew up in Rochester, New York and graduated from Boston’s Suffolk University with a BS in Finance. She previously worked in the Financial Technology Industry at Code Red and FactSet Research Systems with experience in start-up operations, finance, event planning, consulting, account management and project management.
Mary has a passion for traveling, outdoor adventures, fitness, photography, and cooking. She enjoys going to concerts and discovering new music, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Luis joins the HealthBeacon team as part of the software innovation dream team out of North America. Luis is a backend developer, web developer, and SAP consultant who will bring his expertise to the management of design, control, database management and optimization for the HealthBeacon smart sharps platform.
Originally from Venezuela, Luis is a true tech guy and always loves to be involved in the latest technology and learning new skills. He also loves taking his family to the beach and people with a good sense of humor.

Angel Quesada is the Software Development Lead for HealthBeacon and is based in the Montreal office. Originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, Angel will be providing his extensive development skills from Bogota, Colombia. With previous experience working for a pharmaceutical company in Venezuela developing applications and integrating those with software from customers, he also spent time in Ireland developing applications for hospitals and clinics.
He describes himself as a reliable, methodical, proactive, entrepreneurial and conscientious person who gives his best to every project he takes on. In his personal life, he likes football and Real Madrid, loves to travel, practices his photography, enjoys watch thriller movies/TV shows.
